The Advisory Committee supports and advises all SCC events and activities. This Committee meets five times a year and consists of partners from local K-12 schools, community colleges, state colleges, and business members.
This committee is composed of representatives from all of our partners. The Advisory Committee provides input and makes suggestions in regards to policy, planning, budgeting and hiring of SCC personnel. While the SCC staff reports directly to the SCCCD Vice Chancellor of Workforce Development and Educational Services, all our members are given the opportunity to receive information and provide input into planning prior to implementation.
