ASE/NATEF Program Certification Workshop

06/30/2009 - 8:00am - 4:00pm

State Center Consortium in partnership with Megatech Corporation and Fresno City College are hosting a ASE/NATEF Program Certification Workshop

What if your administration implied that your program would close next year? What if your program funding was severely cut (except for the purpose of national industry certification)? What if there was someone who was willing to assist you with this intimidating process? Come spend the day with us and discover how we may be able to help.

In this workshop you will:

  • Analyze the four specific options available for ASE/NATEF program certification
  • Start (or continue) the process of assembling your documentation
  • Discuss and apply critical components necessary for quality instruction
  • Experience proven methods for effective instruction of students
  • Discover possible funding resources that should benefit your program

Be sure to bring any pertinent documentation to the workshop that you have prepared.

Currently employed Career Technical Education teachers can receive a $100 stipend for this workshop. See attached stipend form.

(NATEF) and their subsequent recommendation to the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) who will make the final determination for certification status. It is entirely dependent upon the institution’s completeness and accuracy of their compiled documentation, as well as their positive representation of the program to the on-site Evaluation Team.
