Workshop Goals:

  • Present data showing improved test scores in high schools when using project based learning
  • Teams of high school math and CTE teachers will develop contextual lessons in their respective content areas
  • Core & CTE curriculum alignment
  • Demonstration of exemplary contextual lessons from geometry in construction and algebra 2 in auto class
  • Find a practical way to fulfill STEM initiatives for all students

Who should attend:

High school academic and CTE pathway teams or academic and CTE teachers who want to infuse math into their programs.

  • The State Center Consortium is pleased to announce the award of funds from the Colton-Redlands -Yucaipa Regional Occupational Program (CRYROP) Governor’s Grant for the Fall Semester 2010.

    These funds are designated to support Career Technical Education (CTE) teacher training for new teachers coming out of industry and business. We are very excited about the possibilities this represents for Consortium ‘partners in education’.
