Free Training & Information Sessions for Teachers and Educational Leaders
You're invited to learn more about Brokers of Expertise (BoE), a new community for educators sponsored by the California Department of Education.

Four sessions to choose from:
May 11: 8:30am - 12:00pm
May 11: 1:00pm - 4:30pm
May 12: 8:30am - 12:00pm
May 12: 1:00pm - 4:30pm

Brokers of Expertise is a place to: ... access high quality, standards matched classroom resources.
... share innovative approaches for improving instruction.
... showcase excellence in education.

In this session, you will learn how you can use BoE to network with your school site, work groups, and project teams to increase engagement and get those collaborative juices going!

It's been called the "Facebook for teachers" ... but it's much more than that.
- Access thousands of digital classroom resources from sources like the Library of Congress, Thinkfinity, Smithsonian Education, and the Exploratorium (to name just a few!).
- Collaborate with your peers and work groups and develop online professional learning communities.
- Access a growing library of professional development content.

Sessions provided by the K-12 High Speed Network. To register, visit www.myboe.org. For more information, contact Jon Knolle by email at jknolle [at] bcoe [dot] org or by phone at (530) 879-7557.
