Your Students Will Learn About Exciting Opportunities Offered Through Apprenticeship
Learn about high-wage, high-skill careers from professionals.
11th and 12th grade Students Registered with Their Teacher Only
Students will have the opportunity to see skill demonstrations involving several apprentice trades followed by hands-on experience in three areas. They will also be able to speak with other apprentices and employers.
The following trades will be represented:
- Automotive
- Carpenters & Drywall/Lathers
- Electricians
- Iron Workers
- Laborers
- Plumber/Pipe Fitter
- Sheet Metal
- Operating Engineers
Please have your students wear closed-toe shoes and dress appropriately for hands-on activities.
Working lunch will be provided.
This is a no cost event for all State Center partners.
